Assuming you want to bake the ao textures, bake a normal map, specular map etc. for use in compositing within PS or gimp, you need to constrain your UVs within the 0,1 UV tile. WebThe UV map is an integral part of the space in which the normal map is measured. If you have a normal map that is appropriate with one UV map and you'd like to use it with another UV map instead, you can bake tangent-space normals to that new UV. Blender will evaluate the normals in the tangent space of the new UV to create the new image.
