Crossman 1400 leaking
WebJan 27, 2012 · That 1400 looks great. I also have a 1400 that won't pump up. Everything else looks fine tho. The piston cup looks undamaged but it wont pump up. I used my 1377 pump cup to pump a little pressure and all the other internals work fine. The 1377 cup is the right diameter but it has a different attachment so it wont work with the 1400s rod. I just finished resealing it but the pump cup is very hard, feel more than plastic than rubber. It pumps the first or second time, but at the third It starts to fail. Use a punch that clears teh threads so you don't mangle them. Remove the end plug, spring, blockade, blockade pin and sleeve.
