WebFeb 11, 2011 · I purchased a 9" ford pumpkin, it has a 3.89 posi unit. (ford C6AW-4205-B), I took out a 3.25 to put in the 3.89. This is a 31 spline unit. The 3.25 is a true-trac posi unit. I put a 700r4 in, so went to the higher numerical unit.
