The 22nd fret on the 25.5" neck should have been further from the bridge, not closer. I'd imagine that a conversion neck would put that fret even closer to the bridge. I got the compound radius (10-14), the Clapton V-shape, and roasted maple (no finish). Mine didn’t need any fret leveling, and plays perfectly with fairly low action.
