The Kalyani Chalukyas appointed the former soldiers of the Rashtrakutas, who were called as ‘Raddis’, as village chieftains. WebThey captured some ancient indians and called them as Dasyas & Sudras and used them as slaves. Between 500 BC to 1AD the cultivators were excluded from Vysyas and were grouped as Sudra Catagory.
