Webb28 mars 2024 · Spatial intelligence, also known as visual spatial intelligence or spatial reasoning, is the capacity to imagine or visualize in one’s mind the positions of objects, their shapes, their spatial relations to one another and the movement they make to form new spatial relations. Webbpropose that teleological reasoning about natural phenomena indexes relational and deictic dependencies, rather than theistic, intentional functions. From this vantage point, reasoning patterns that until now have been interpreted as promiscuously teleological may instead reflect an appreciation of the relations among entities in the natural world.
